In Toulouse, science knows no country

When someone says “Toulouse” to you, you will most likely think of aeronautics. Yet, did you know that the “Pink City 1 ” of the south of France is a scientific and technical hub of high international standing? The Nobel Prize for economics awarded in 2014 to Jean Tirole, from the Toulouse School of Economics, is the most recent example of this. All the subject areas are represented within the Université Fédérale de Toulouse , from human and social sciences, archaeology, economics and law, all the way to astrophysics and bio and agrotechnology, including, of course, aeronautics and space.
